About

Mission & Purpose

Our mission is to empower individuals to cultivate alignment between mind, body, and spirit, fostering a life of purpose, peace, and fulfillment. We invite you to embark on a transformative journey of healing as we support you in becoming a modern-day “Repairer of the Breach” within your family and community.

SCGG Ministries is a Christ-centered organization where the integration of theology and psychology forms the foundation for healing the mind, body, and spirit.  We welcome all who desire to go deeper in God.

Vision

We have a strong desire to see all of God’s children free from the bondage of trauma, filled with the Holy Spirit, and boldly advancing the kingdom of God in a world that needs Him now more than ever.

Shamieka Charlay Guzmán

FOUNDER

Shamieka Charlay Guzmán is on a mission to help as many people as possible become their best selves while doing their best work to heal their body, mind and spirit, so that they mirror their soul which was always whole. Author, speaker, and certified transformational coach, Shamieka specializes in helping others optimize their healing journeys through a mixture of theology and psychology. She acquired her passion to add value to the lives of others at an early age by becoming a successful, certified hair color specialist and later owning her own salon in Tustin, CA. Shamieka became inspired to unleash her untapped Godly potential and answer His call on her life when she retired from the beauty industry in December 2023 to follow Jesus full time.

With over ten years of leadership experience, Shamieka understands that the right information can cause a widespread revolution. This passion for transformation motivated her to write and release her first book, Letters of Gratitude & Forgiveness: Overcoming Abandonment and Rejection. Shamieka also emerged in the mentoring and coaching arena with the startup of SCGG Ministries, LLC, which serves hundreds of people.

In addition to her contributions in the field of speaking and coaching, Shamieka continues to serve as founder and leader of The Gatherin’ of SCGG.

She enjoys downtime with activities such as listening to audible books, roller blading, and traveling the world. Shamieka is the proud mother of her daughter, Kris, and bonus mama to Jas and Ny.
